INSTRUCTIONS
(1) Assume appropriate data and state your reasons
(2) Marks are given to the right of every question
(3) Draw neat diagrams wherever necessary

1 (a) The line diagram of a residential building is given in Fig, Q1. Draw to a scale of 1:100.
i) Plan at sill level
Note: All load bearing walls are 230 mm thick and partition walls are 115 mm thick. All walls are in BBM of CM 1:6. The foundation is made of SSM in CM 1:6. The depth of the foundation is 1.2 m below ground level. The thickness of plinth bed is 150 mm, thickness of RCC 150 mm. The clear height of the roof from floor level is 3.1 m, and intel are provided at 2.1 m.
W1 = 1.2m × 1.5m     W2 = 1.2m × 1.2m    W3 = 1.5m × 1.2m
W4 = 1.2m × 0.75m   W5 =1.0m × 0.6 m    V1= 1.0m × 0.6m
V2 = 0.4m × 0.6m     D1 = 1.2 m × 2.1 m   D2 = 1.0m × 2.1m
D3 = 0.9m × 2.1m
