3 (b) A solid cylindrical slug made of stainless steel is 150 mm diameter and 100 mm height. It is reduced in height by 50% at room temperature by open die forging with flat dies. Assume \mu as 0.2 and flow stress as 1000MPa, calculate forging force at the end of the stroke.
