1 The Fig. Q1(a) shows the detail of a residential building with a ceiling height of 3.5m. Workout the quantities for following items.
a. Earthwork in excavation for foundation in ordinary soil @ Rs 211/cum
b. Plinth concrete of DDC 1:2:4: at the rate of Rs 4200/cum
c. 1st class brick work in CM 1:6 for superstructure at rate of Rs 3500/cum
d. Ceiling plastering at rate of Rs 189/sqm
D1 = 0.9 × 2.1 m, D2 = 1.2 × 2.1 m
W1 = 1.5 × 1.35 m, W2 = 1.2 × 1.35 m, W3 = 1.2 × 1.35 m
V = 0.9 × 1.2.

Assume local prevailing rates and 30 cm wall thickness.
