5(b) A single phase distributor AB of 500 mt long is fed from end A and is loaded as below:
i) 100 A at 0.7 power factor lagging 300 mt. from A.
ii) 200 A at 0.85 power factor lagging 500 mt. From a. The total resistance and reactance of the districutor is 0.25 Ω and 0.15Ω per km. Calculate the total voltage drop in the distributor. The load power factors are referred to the referred to the voltage at the far end.
