(1) Assume appropriate data and state your reasons
(2) Marks are given to the right of every question
(3) Draw neat diagrams wherever necessary

solve any question from Q.1(a, b) & Q.1(c)
1(a) A point is 30 mm behind VP, 30 mm above HP and 25 mm in front / behind / from LPP. Draw its projections and name the side view.
10 M
1(b) Draw the projections of the line AB 100 mm long inclined at 45 degree to VP and 30 degree to HP. One end of the lines is 20 mm above the HP and ind the VP. Also determine the apparent length and inclinations.
15 M
1(c) A hexagonal lamina of sides 25 mm rests on one of its corners on HP. The corner opposite to the corner on which it rests on one of its corner on HP the diagnonal passing through the corner on which it rests is inclined at 30 degree to VP. Draw its projections. Find the inclination of the surface with HP.
25 M

2 A square pyramid 35 mm sides of the base and 60 mm axis length is suspended freely from a corner of its base. Draw the projections of the pyramid when the axis appear to beinclined to VP at 45°.
30 M

solve any one question from Q.3(a) & Q3(b).
3(a) A square prism of base side 35 mm &height 55 mm rests with it base on HP and two face equally inclined to VP. Draw the development of the lateral surface of the retained portion of the cut prism shown by dark lines in the figure. !mage
