Transformers and Induction Machines by Prof.M. G. Say, C.B.S. Publishers is suggested as reference book for studying the following subjects:
Transformers & Induction Machines in Electrical and Electronic Engineering Semester 4 (Visveswaraya Technological University)

The book is not intended as an instruction in commercial design: that is an art best known to practising designers. The text has been largely re-fashioned to give emphasis to the essential unity of all electromagnetic machines, a unity that has been obscured by the technological accretions in which each class of machine has, in the last half century become separately embedded.
