Sinhgad Institute of Pharmacy, Narhe
Location:
Sinhgad Institute of Pharmacy is located far away from the highway in an extremely remote area of Narhe. Most of the students commute by bikes and the college buses as PMT bus service is pretty bad and drops you only on the highway.
Infrastructure:
The pharmacy department is a two storey building and have well equipped laboratories. There are books available in the library of all the possible courses offered in pharmacy. There is wifi connectivity in the hostels.

Faculty:
The teaching staff at Sinhgad Institute of Pharmacy is just about average. There is nothing to boast about the faculty except that they are quite qualified. Most of them are non co-operative and show towering attitude to students. Communication is most of the times in Hindi and broken English.
Attendance:
The attendance matters at this college are extremely strict. 75% is must failing which you get a year drop or not allowed to sit for exams.
Crowd:
Most of them are from the local city of Pune, while some are from other parts of Maharashtra. You don’t find an urban crowd here and overall personality development is quite poor.
Hangouts:
There is a hookah parlour by the name Rolling Stone where you see a lot of Sinhgad-ites. Otherwise, the area is really boring and pretty far from the main city. No great hangouts, cinema halls and you have to travel atleast 5-7 kilometres from the college to get to a place where you may enjoy spending time with friends.
Canteen:
There is a common canteen in the college which is for all the courses. The canteen serves just about an average food at a nominal cost. There is a cafeteria in the college which serves quite good food. The only issue is the cost. The owner charges random prices for random people and students find it annoying. Pretty eccentric guy out there.
Festivals:
Sinhgad 'Karandak' held in the month of February.

Verdict:
Sinhgad Institute of Pharmacy is pretty new in the city, and will take a lot of time to join the good league of colleges. If you’ve a better choice, go for that, else take Sinhgad.
