Bharati Vidyapeeth College of Architecture, Katraj

Location:

Bharati Vidyapeeth College of Architecture is located in the most famous Bharati Vidyapeeth campus on the Pune-Katraj highway. The university being extremely famous doesn’t need any landmark and is quite recognised in Pune and for that matter in the state as well. Since, the college is located on the main highway, accessibility isn’t a huge problem. PMT buses drop you next to the college gate and have a good frequency. Despite of that, studs prefer bikes and cars while girls choose scooty. Hostelites and some localites who stay close-by prefer walking.

The college has most of the crowd from the local city of Pune with a very few students from other parts of Maharashtra. There are a handful of students from other parts of India and thus making the crowd more of the localites dominated.

Students usually prefer to chill in their college canteen, while some choose the back gate roadside food stalls. You get almost every food item from all possible ranges. Some go to the very famous '100 Biryanis' bang opposite the college, across the highway. Koregaon Park, MG Road and FC Road are other standard hangouts.

Canteen:

Well, the uniqueness of the architecture college canteen is that it’s located right on top, the terrace. It’s pretty spacious and serves awesome delicacies. Overall, the food is quite tasty and definitely less suffocating. Students favourite, maggie, is the most ordered food item. Moreover, the cost of the food items is pretty light on your pocket. So, all in all, it’s a good combination of tasty and economic food, and a refreshing open air ambience.
