Location:
All India Shri Shivaji Memorial Society’s Institute of Management (AISSMS IoM) is located right in the heart of the city, i.e., Shivajinagar. Its a mere 10 minute walk from Pune railway station and has excellent accessibility from all parts of the city, be it buses or trains.
Infrastructure:
The AISSMS Institute of Management is relatively newer compared to the Engineering College of the same group. The building has modern look and is appealing at least from the outside. From the insides, the students say that the library and the seminar hall are are big and spacious. However, the computer labs are still under completion. The students however, complain about the necessary but unreliable equipments like projectors and AV setup.
Fees & Placements:
The fees for the MBA program is Rs. 66,000/- per year.
The placement scenario is good for the Finance and Marketing specializations. Almost 80% of the students get placed with an average salary of Rs. 3.5 Lakh/year. The highest goes up to 4.5 to 5 lakh. The situation is a little troublesome for HR, Operations and IT specializations most of who have to hunt for jobs by themselves.
Faculty:
The students don’t seem to be very happy with the teaching here. “There are few good professors and the overall faculty needs to be upgraded”, says a disappointed student. Guest lectures is one thing that the students do like because there are industry professionals coming in every Saturday.
Seminars and Industry Interaction:
Seminars are held twice a month. They are quite interesting and the students attend dedicatedly. There’s also an industrial visit once a year but its more of a trip/picnic for the students rather than learning experience.
Crowd & Campus Life:
Almost ninety percent of the crowd are freshers, i.e., students with no job experience after their graduation. The crowd is decent and people carrying out activities they enjoy. The campus life is wonderful. “9 on 10” says a student happily.
Festivals:
PANACHE is the annual inter college festival held in February wherein students from many colleges over the city participate. FLAME is the intra-college festival held in end- November as soon as the exams get over.

Verdict:
Great college to be in. Excellent campus life coupled with good placements is a major plus point.
