Location:

Bharti Vidyapeeth’s IMED is located on Paud Road in Erandwane which is pretty much accessible from all parts of the city. Students, however, prefer to get their own private two-wheelers. Bus connectivity is good for those who can’t.

 

Infrastructure:

IMED is equipped with the state-of-the-art infrastructure, with facilities like playgrounds, gardens, and a hostel too. The library is big and spacious with a huge college of journals and books. The campus is equipped with high speed wireless internet. The classrooms here are known as ‘smart classes’ since they are equipped with Projectors and AV setup.

 

Fees & Placements:

The fees for the MBA course are 1.25Lakh per year. The placements are said to be excellent, wherein 80-85% of the students get placed. All the specializations get equal opportunity from various companies visiting the campus. Average salary offered is a healthy Rs.4.5 Lakh a year. The highest salary offered in the recent years was Rs.6.5Lakh a year, by ICICI Bank.

 

Faculty:

The teaching is said to be excellent. The professors are knowledgeable, co-operative and have ample industry and teaching experience. Guest lectures are conducted every Saturday.

 

Seminars & Industry Interaction:

Various forums like HR, Marketing organize their own events, seminars and workshops a few times every month.  Industrial visits are also organised.

 

Crowd & Campus Life:

The students come from varied backgrounds, like Engineering, Commerce and Sciences. Most of which are freshers, and only 5-10% of them have job experience.  Life gets a little stressful due to the strict attendance criteria.

 

Festivals:

'EXIM' – is organised by the International Business forum every year.
There is an active Rotaract Club that organizes various social and cultural activities.
