Institute of Management - Nirma University (IMNU) is located on the Sarkhej-Gandhinagar highway, around 15 km from Ahmedabad. It is located on 110 acre huge campus. The campus can be characterised by modern and the state of art infrastructure. All classrooms are AC and there are free Wi-Fi zones on campus. Hostels are quite good, each room is shared between two students. There is a Television room, gymkhana and other sports & recreational facilities in hostels. Boys hostel is located on the campus whereas the girls hostel is located in the city. The mess serves only vegetarian food. But quality and menu are controlled by students' committee, hence it is always serves good food. Charges for hostel is 50,000 for normal room and 65,000 per year for AC rooms. Additionally you need to shell out about 15,000 a year for mess and activity charges.

Fees are 2.8 LPA.

Faculty is here is highly qualified, some of them even from the top B-Schools abroad. The course structure is like any other MBA school, nothing out of the box. Case study based approach has been followed since a few years. Also many seminars and conclaves for finance, marketing, entrepreneurship etc. are organized every week. These are generally organized by student committees.
Crowd & Campus Life:
Crowd here is dominated by engineers. The crowd is mostly from small towns and cities. There are people from other states but it is dominated by the Gujarat residents. Hostel life here is fun. Institute of Management - Nirma University (IMNU) is under the Nirma University which has many other courses like engineering, pharmacy, law and science on the same campus. Hence there are many diverse students on the campus. The life maybe hectic but students are happy with it.
Corporate Connections and International Affiliations:
The institute has tie-ups with many institutes, like the IIMs so the students can attend their conferences and seminars. There are many guest lecturers from the industry visiting here. Guest lectures are very frequent over here. Industrial Visits are conducted frequently to local industries like Balaji Wafers, Mundra Port etc. There is an international IV for Family business students to China, Singapore etc.
Summer Placements:
The summer placements at IMNU are quite decent. The summer placements are getting much better with every year passing by. The companies which hire for the summer are the ones which usually hire for the final placements also.
Verdict:
The institute is one of the good private B-School and aimed at providing education rather than just another money making management institute.
