Preparation

After not clearing CAT in the first attempt, I focused on my job and after working for 1.5 years, I decide to give CAT and all the exams. I left my job in October and started preparing for all the entrance exams. I studied for 4-5 hours a day and used to invest a lot of time in solving MOCK tests of several coaching classes and Arun Sharma’s notes. I solved around 15-20 Mock tests. Exhaustive newspaper reading is very essential. It makes you aware of the goings-on in the country, very important during GD and PI rounds. Also, newspapers expose you to numerous words which often find place in MBA entrance exams. All these things got me NMIMS and choose it considering it has a good reputation, excellent placements and the most important thing that it located in Mumbai.
