MBS School of Planning and Architecture, Dwarka

Location:

MBS School of Planning and Architecture is located close to Dwarka Sector 10 Metro station on the Blue line - a mere 7 minute walk from the station. It's easily accessible by buses as well and the students aren't complaining about it at all.

Infrastructure:

The infrastructure is absolutely great for an architecture college - and perhaps one of the best in Delhi. The library and studios are well equipped and nicely maintained. Although the building is still under construction the authorities have made sure that the students do not face any problems.

Fees:

Rs. 55,000/year

Faculty:

The teachers are co-operative and friendly. They support and encourage innovative ideas and experiments. The design faculty is especially more interactive. However, they are quite particular about submissions and late submissions are not easily accepted.

Attendance:

MSB School of Planning and Architecture is very particular about attendance and every student is required to fulfill the mandatory 75% attendance criteria, failing which he/she is not allowed to appear for exams.

Crowd:

The crowd in general isn't what a professional course would have. Seniors try to act dominating by asking their juniors to address them with titles like Sir/Ma'm. "It's stupidity" says a student.

Hangouts:

The area is kind of deserted and isn't very safe to hang around especially after sunset - in short, there's nothing nearby where students can chill.

Performance at NASA:

MBS School of Planning and Architecture has been very recently established and is thus yet to show its true might - expectations are high.

Actually the infrastructure is not that great. The Canteen is ill-equipped and the food is not prepared too hygienically. The toilets stink and are generally dirty. After being in the School for four years, students find incomplete buildings and shortage of faculty.
