Location:

Parel Station on the mainline of the central railway is the closest from Seth GS Medical College and King Edward Memorial (KEM) Hospital; it is less than a kilometer from the hospital; cabs are freely available and you can reach within the minimum fare. Elphinstone station on Western railway is exactly adjacent to Parel and students coming from the Western Suburbs can use it access the college as easily. If Navi Mumbai and other harbour line students are feeling disheartened, don't feel so; Sewree station isn't too far either (about 2 km from the hospital)

There is an extensive network of buses and the hospital can be reached from every part of the city by B.E.S.T buses.The following routes stop at about 100 meters from the hospital: 9, 14, 57, 61, 64, 65, 67, 69, 73, 134, 160, 162, 166, 168, 200, 201, 212, 213, and 40 ltd., 255 ltd., 368 ltd (perhaps some more which slipped out of our mind)

Campus is almost 2 acres. There are four buildings. One is 14 storey and the other three are 4 storeys.

There are abundant patients in these hospitals, so you can get a good opportunity to gain practical experience.

There are two canteens. Quite decent. Reasonable.

Hangouts:

Once you enter this college, you’ll stop hanging out anywhere except for the library. However, if you are from a different planet and do manage to escape from the college, here are a few options: Phoenix Mills, Dominos and various other local restaurants.

80% practicals.
75% lectures.
Compulsory.
