Preparation

2 months (Old syllabus). Quants was a strong point for me so dint prepare much just Barrons for theory reference. For Verbal, finished all the words within 1 and half month and thoroughly revised all of them for the remaining time. 5-6 revisions of words is recommended. Through out  the 2 months I practiced Bigbook. Practice tests: 1) Barrons 2) Kaplan

I took the GRE on Sept 7 2010. Ideal time is either during vacations or once the semester starts.

SOP Advice: I took help from my counselor. The counselor showed my interest in telecom.

Counselling Advice:  I'm a bit lethargic so I needed one, but not compulsory. It can be managed without a counselor.

Experience at Current University:

CU Boulder. Telecom management. My focus was on networking so I chose telecom as my major. Also I had interest in management so I chose Telecom management which is known as Interdisciplinary Telecommunications Program in CU Boulder.
