Institute of Information Technology and Management (IITM), D-Block Janakpuri
Location:
Institute of Information Technology and Management is a 20 minute bus ride from Uttam Nagar West Metro station, but most students prefer the 30 minute bus ride from Kirti Nagar station, since there’s a direct bus available. Alternatively, you could also travel completely by bus. Either way, the stop you should be getting off at is either Janakpuri D Block, or Sagarpur Bus Station. From there, the Institutional Area of D-Block is quite famous. and the college is D-28.
Infrastructure:
The infrastructure at IITM is quite good. Laboratories are air-conditioned, and classrooms are well maintained. There are 3 libraries – one for professors and two for students. Notably, the book management system of the library is fully computerized. The Book Bank sometimes falls short of books, but the library has more than enough. Classrooms are not great, but are maintained well. Overall the students would rate the infrastructure a 4/5.

Note: IITM additionally offers BBA and BCA courses in two shifts under the aegis of Institute of Innovation in Technology & Management in the same campus.
Fees:
Rs.40,000 per annum for both BBA and BCA.
Around Rs. 80,000 for the post-grad courses.
Faculty:
Many of the professors are visiting lecturers from Delhi University, and are highly experienced. The permanent faculty also comprises some really good professors, with a minimum of 3-4 years experience. Staff is very student-friendly.
Attendance:
Students are expected to maintain a minimum of 70% attendance, failing which strict action may be taken. Parents are definitely called, and in some cases the college authorities refuse to give the student his/her admit card.
Crowd:
The mixed crowd is a good blend of core Delhi-ites and students from the NCR. While there are always some incidents everywhere, all in all the crowd is quite friendly.
Hangouts:
There isn’t too much around here, apart from Rajouri Garden, and the District Center.
Canteen:
It’s a decent canteen with a seating capacity of about 60 odd people. The food is pretty good, and thankfully is quite reasonably priced as well. Maggi (which costs Rs.15) is the most popular order.
Festivals:
IITM hosts an intra-college festival every year, and it also has an Annual Day (like every other college in the world).
Placements:
Roughly one third of the students get placed. Some of the companies visiting the college are Wipro, Patni, Wiprotech, etc. the average package offered is about Rs.2 lac per annum.

Verdict:
A decent college, but nothing exceptional. You can probably do better.
