Pune Vidyarthi Griha's College of Engineering and Technology (PVGCOET) is situated at Vidya Nagari, Shivdarshan, Parvati, which is very close to the Swargate bus depot. Good accessibility, then.
Infrastructure:
Not too good, not too bad. The auditorium is pretty impressive, and the library is well stocked and well kept. Hostel facility with an intake of 126 students is available. The rent is 24,000/- and an additional 4,500/- if you opt for the mess food.

Faculty:
The faculty is good, but aren’t extremely fluent in English. Students say that that isn’t really a problem, as they make up for it by teaching really really well.
Attendance:
No attendance problems as such. Students aren’t detained, come what may.
Crowd:
You’ll find a lot of localites, the so-called typical ‘puneri’ crowd.
Hangouts:
City Pride mall at Satara road is a common hangout, and students often go to Camp, which they say takes care of ALL their needs. There is also the brilliantly named Relax pav-bhaji centre.
Canteen:
The food isn’t bad, but the atmosphere certainly is. Students generally prefer eating out.
Festivals:
The technical fest of Pune Vidyarthi Griha's College of Engineering and Technology (PVGCOET) is called Versatalia. The cultural and sports festivals are held towards the end of January. Apart from these the college celebrates all Marathi festivals with great enthusiasm.
Placements:
Pune Vidyarthi Griha's College of Engineering and Technology (PVGCOET) supposedly has the best placements for printing and second-best for electrical in the whole of Maharashtra. Placements for Mechanical, Computers and E&TC are pretty good. Some statistics from the previous reveal the same.

Verdict:
Not a bad college to go to. The faculty is good, and the infrastructure seems to be improving too.
