IIM Indore was built in 1996, but the campus has been completely redone recently. It now boasts of state of the art infrastructure to complement the scenic beauty of the hillock it rests on. Spread over 193 acres, the campus is close to the fast-growing SEZ near Indore.
IIM Indore, along with its beauty, has all possible modern amenities as well. There are facilities for sports aficionados, and a well-equipped library for the more academically inclined. There are nice, clean, well-maintained hostels for boys and girls, and the common rooms have massive 50inch LCD televisions!

The fees at IIM Indore is about Rs. 12 lakhs for the two-year PGDM course.

Faculty & Pedagogy:
The pedagogy is a judicious mix of lectures, case discussions, project work, term papers, role-play, seminar presentations, assignments, videos, management games, and simulations.
The faculty here is very good. The IIMs are known for their highly qualified faculty. The faculties have written many papers. The visiting faculty comes from reputed institutes world over.
Crowd & Campus Life:
You can be sure of finding too many of engineers here. The hostel life is something you will miss the most once you have experienced it. The crowd is a very competitive one and you will have to be on your toes to survive here. As you are in an IIM expecting a hectic life wouldn’t be wrong but then you would find that it is totally worth it. Although with such a hectic life, students find enough time to have parties very frequently.
Corporate Connections:
It had a successful student exchange program with École de management de Lyon, a reputed B-school in France. The institute also has exchange programs with schools from Germany, China, New Zealand and the United States.
Many famous personalities have visited the campus to give seminars on various topics and also have had interactive sessions with students. Recently Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam had visited the campus.
Summer Placements:
Over 160 recruiters from 22 sectors visited the campus in 2012. Some of the companies were Deutsche Bank, JPMorgan Chase, HSBC, Citibank, Standard Chartered Bank, Hindustan Unilever, Procter and Gamble, ITC, Marico, Colgate- Palmolive, Dabur, Reckitt Benckiser, PepsiCo, Reliance Industries Ltd, Anil Dhirubhai Ambani Group, Tata, Mahindra and Mahindra, Aditya Birla Group, Microsoft, Yahoo!, Cognizant Business Consulting, Wipro Consulting, Capgemini, iGate, Tata Consultancy Services.
Special Attributes:
Students have launched a business magazine called Management canvass, which has gained popularity among the management circle very quickly.
Verdict:
The only reason you would not join is because you want to get into IIM A,B or C, there should be no other reason to not go for it.
