Faculty & Pedagogy:
IIM Lucknow is often ranked as the fourth best B School in India, and major credit for this goes to the faculty. The professors are from a rich academic background, with affiliations with top schools like Harvard, Stanford and MIT.
The pedagogy is mainly case-study based. There is a 10:1 student teacher ratio. Courses are redesigned every year with feedback from industry.
Crowd & Campus Life:
The majority of the crowd, as one would expect, comes from an engineering background. There is a rather Unhealthy male to female ratio, but that’s something that is common in most of the top Bschools.
The life at IIM-L isn’t only academic-oriented. Students manage to find some time for recreation as well as socializing. There are 20+ committees in the campus, and students participate actively in them.
But all the extra-curriculars in no way mean that life here isn’t hectic. The massive number of projects and case studies ensure that an average student spends a fair few sleepless nights trying to make deadlines.

IIM Lucknow has an executive program in association with Reliance Communications. They also have an understanding in place according to which many IIM-L alumni assist some UNICEF programs.
