AIMS Test for Management Admission (ATMA)

General Description:

The ATMA is another exam conducted on a very large scale, and is conducted by the Association of Indian Management Schools for admission to them.

Accepting Institutes:

A total of about 70 institutes that come under the AIMS accept these scores.

Dates:

ATMA is normally held on a Sunday in the month of February every year, in a number of locations across the country.

Format and Peculiarities:

The ATMA is a long, 3 hour test which consists of roughly 170 questions from a total of 6 sections. The exam normally follows a format like the one given below:

Tips:

It isn’t a very straightforward test, first and foremost. The fact that you can’t decide how to divide your time means that you’ll have to be equally well-prepared for each section. Once that is taken care of, you also have to be really really quick, since the cutoffs for each section can go alarmingly high.
