The only way you can know is by taking part in the rounds. But do not forget to apply in DJs rounds as well, since it is the second best option for you. All the best.

If you get it, well and good, if not, then DJ is great too. Its a win-win situation. Since placement and fees are not an issue, then this is how they compare: Teaching: SP=DJ Infrastructure: DJ>SP Crowd: DJ>SP

Though I agree SP is a better choice over DJ, but by bragging about the campus, you are not really giving the whole picture. The SP campus is shared by many other colleges and institutes. If that is the case, then DJ can include the whole Mithibai, NM, Baghubai massive campus as well.

The ONLY factor where SP has a slight edge over DJ is in placements. They are comparable, but SP does get some better.

Other factors:

Teaching: SP=DJ
Infrastructure: DJ>SP (I mean inside the classroom and library etc.)
Festival: DJ=SP (been to both, DJ's cultural fest is better, SP's tech fest is better)
Fees: SP fees less than DJ
Accessibility: DJ>SP
Crowd: DJ>SP (in DJ more fun loving, chilled out, yet smart. Plus, no undeserving reservation students in DJ, and Gujarati cut offs are good themselves)
Canteen: SP>DJ (But, you can anytime go to the NMIMS, Mithibai canteen for amazing cheap food, entry allowed)
Technical Opportunities: SP>DJ (SP seems to have a more active presence in state/national techical events/workshops/competitions)
Hangouts: DJ>>SP (the whole Mithibai are is fun, and full of places to hang out. Its Juhu man!)
