Faculty at Aksheyaa College of Engineering are pretty decent. Majority of them have done their masters but very few of them have enough experience.

Campus of Aksheyaa College of Engineering is pretty big but not beautiful. Classrooms are decent and labs are well-equipped. Other facilities include an auditorium which can seat 300 people, another seminar hall which is smaller than auditorium, a library which can accommodate 150 to 200 students, spacious dining hall cum mess etc. There is a huge playground but it's very minimal in terms of facilities. It is not maintained properly. Day-scholars hardly make use of playground and it is used by hostelites.

The college website claims, in bold, Aksheyaa College of Engineering to be 1st college in Tamilnadu to have placed 100% students through on-campus recruitment. Major companies that visited the campus are Eureka Forbes, Reliance Communications, Alcatel Lucent, HCL, Tech Mahindra etc. Placements for Civil & Mechanical branches were surprisingly better than CSE & ECE.

Aksheyaa College of Engineering (ACE) is located almost 75 km from Chennai, yet many of its students are from Chennai. They daily travel this distance to & fro via college buses. There's a fleet of college buses. However it is a little less far from Tambaram, where majority of Chennai students coming to Aksheyaa College reside. Location of the college is remote and you can see acres of empty land with sparse vegetation as far as sight goes.

There are hostel within the campus. The rooms are very spacious and they are shared by 4 people. Hostel charges are 42,000 per year.

Majority of the crowd is from outside of Tamilnadu residing in hostels. Local students are from areas like Guindy, Chromepet & Tambaram in Chennai and from Kancheepuram & Chengalpet.

If you are a student from Chennai ask yourself a question: would you like to travel 150 km daily? If yes go ahead, Aksheyaa College of Engineering is not a bad college to study at. Placements are great. If not, worry not. There's no scarcity of colleges in this region of the country.
