Brindavan College of Engineering (BCE) is relatively a new institute and thus it’s foolish to expect all professors to be highly experienced and wonderful at teaching. A few do fall in this category, but majority of them are having less than 2 years of experience or still pursuing their higher studies. On the whole, there’s a fair amount of learning, may be just enough to pacify the students.

Faculty is ok-ok. Few teachers are awesome, like you'd find no-where but few are like, you'd like to find no-where. And rest are average sort of teachers. A student should be okay with that.

The grand entrance to the Brindavan College of Engineering (BCE) welcomes you to a very pleasant appearing campus, with parking facility as soon as you enter the gates followed by a soothingly colourful canteen area. Academically too, students do not face any problems; new equipments in labs, comfortable classrooms and sufficient number of books in the library take care of their needs.

No companies are said to yet visit the campus and whatever placements happen are only through pool-campus wherein students have to go to a more reputed college where a company has come, sit for the interview and get a job on his/her own calibre with little interference or support from the parent college. However, Brindavan College of Engineering (BCE) is expected to get better placements and on-campus recruiters with time.

ZERO placements! It's better to choose other colleges.

Brindavan College of Engineering (BCE) is located off Bangalore International Airport Road, close to the air-force base in far-north Bangalore’s Yelahanka. It’s a 10-15 minute walk from the highway where the BMTC buses drop you, so not totally inaccessible but difficult to reach, yes! The college also provides bus facility for those who want to be dropped right at the college gate, but it comes at a price (about Rs. 12,000/- per year) and since you need to stick the specific bus timings while coming to & from college, there are few who opt for this service.

Hostels have cosy rooms and a clean environment. So though washrooms are common, no one feels discomforted. Hostel fees are about Rs. 35,000-40,000/- per year including food.

The seating arrangement is very nice. The food is tasty but a little expensive.

Canteen, you'll find students sitting, chit-chatting and haveing fun. Food is good, but don't just depend on it. At least know that, every time eating in canteen, won't keep you healthy. And yea, that construction work there, its messy, loads of dust and all, like seriously!

‘VLC chaiwala’ right outside the college gate is the only place in close proximity where you can sit, sip tea or coffee, some snacks and kill time. For a more high-end place to chill, you have to travel at least 8-10kms to reach Esteem Mall.

Not much of hangouts. Potenza to the left, if you walk a li'l but is too expensive to consider.

Pretty diverse crowd with Bangalore forming the obvious majority followed up close by students from Kerala (about 20-25%) and some North Indian states (about 10-15%). International students prominently come from Nepal (about 18-20%) and Iran (about 5-10%). The crowd doesn't seem to very energetic and everyone is mostly into their own groups gossiping about some other group in their free time.

Crowd is good. but it really depends on your personality. Students would more be like a mirror to you. But they're friendly and easy to mingle with. Some exceptions are there though.

Brindavan College of Engineering (BCE) is very strict about attendance and anyone with below 75% attendance is charged fines as much as Rs. 500-Rs. 1000. Below 50% is not tolerated and defaulters are disallowed to appear for exams.
Dress codes and uniforms have to be strictly adhered to.

Attendance, you should be pretty regular and maintain 75 % and above, otherwise there is this fine and all. If you've got money already in your pockets, you'll feel lucky enough here.

BCE is fairly good as far as academics are concerned but has a lot of scope of improvement. For now, it’s best to prefer it only if you’re residing in this part of city and have few other options to choose.
