Teaching is average and definitely tolerable. A lot of them are strict but dedicated so the students don’t really mind too much.

Infra is neither too good nor too bad. Well equipped laboratories, sufficient books in the library and neat & clean classrooms make sure you don’t face many problems as far as academics are concerned. A sports ground and some indoor games work as recreational facilities.

I fully agree to the information provided. The computer Labs are shared by both CSE & IT. Just average teaching learning process.

About 60-70% of the students get placed on an average. The companies visiting the campus are the usual IT companies L&T InfoTech, Wipro & IBM sorts. When asked if any fat salary offerings like Rs. 5L a year upwards are made, all students went “Haww!! Noo.. not at all!!”

CiTech is somewhere off Bangalore-Chennai highway a little beyond the KR Puram lake in North-Eastern outskirts of Bangalore. BMTC buses like 313, 315, 317, 318 drop you at the highway from Majestic or KR Market. Cambridge Institute of Technology is about 15 minutes from there.

Most of the students who land up here are average rankers. Academics tend to be neglected since almost three quarters of the class is more interested in other activities or just pure mischief. Few North Indians land up here and classes are full of people from one of the South Indian states.

A festival called “Chiguru” is celebrated at Cambridge Institute of Technology (CiTech) sometime in April. It’s an intra college cultural festival.

If the attends falls below 85%, CiTech asks you to deal directly with VTU, which requires you to produce valid medical documents or some other genuine and reasonable excuse. Below 75% is not tolerated and you may detained.
Entering the Cambridge Institute of Technology campus after 9am is a task here and so is roaming freely inside the campus. No dress codes as such except for a restriction on wearing printed round neck Tshirts.

Infrastructure and faculty are the positives, while the extreme discipline, its slightly remote location and the crowd to some extent don’t make Cambridge Institute of Technology a favourable college to be in.

It was good in first year.
But it becomes worse every semester.
Very very bad in placements.
Info in their website is totally fraud.
