All the faculties barring a few exceptions are freshers with none or very less experience in teaching or industry. They are just okay. CS & ECE have slightly better professors, rest have pretty average faculty.

Faculties are very strict if you don't score well, there was no 1st day programme for the freshers, we actually saw our principal after 1 month, the teaching is awesome, they give assignments through which you can score 20+ in your internals, they give extra coaching after class hours for those who have scored below average in their internals and try to make them score well in the externals

The campus houses a dental college, dental hospital, nursing college, a management college and an MCA College too along with engineering. It is not too vast a campus but somehow all these courses and colleges are accommodated in it. The engineering college building has some parts still under construction. However those that are ready are nice including comfortable classrooms, well-equipped labs and a decent library. There is internet connectivity accessible wirelessly over wifi as well as LAN in the labs.

Placement scenario is poor in Rajarajeshwari College of Engg, with only a couple of companies having visited the campus for recruitments. Those too were local small time companies and not even mass recruiters like TCS & Accenture visited the campus. About 10% of the students manage to secure jobs on-campus with average (& maximum) salary of 3 lakhs. However the situation is such mainly due to college is new and is expected to improve soon 'if' it builds a reputation for itself.

Rajarajeshwari College is located on Mysore Road near the Ramohalli Cross in South Western extreme of Bengaluru. A very prominent sign board on the magnificent white building cannot be missed while driving. Although it is quite far from centre of city, accessibility is good, thanks to BMTC which runs buses from major parts of the city till here. They drop you right outside the college and frequency is also decent. There is also a bus service run by college which can be availed at Rs 7,000 a year.

There are hostels too in Rajarajeshwari College for boys and girls. They are common with dental students. Girls’ hostel is nice but boys’ hostel is very bad. There is twin sharing over very small rooms and hygiene also is not properly taken care of. Mess food is average. Charges for hostel are 55,000 per year.

Canteen of RRCE is huge and there is enough space to sit too. Food is also tasty. Only two complains about canteen: there is no Keralia-style food served here and prices are slightly higher compared to restaurants outside.

There aren’t many interesting hangouts nearby. Students mention ‘Manchanabele Dam’ as their only hangout which is some 15 km away and looks beautiful especially during monsoons.

college is meant for decency and there is no permission for hangouts but still the students don't care, mess food is horrible but nescafe fetches very tasty food

Majority of crowd belongs to southern India, not necessarily from Bangalore or Karnataka. In fact there are more of Malayalis than locals due to the management consisting of Malayalam members. And a trend which is seen in many engineering colleges across Bangalore is not followed here - very few people from northern parts of country. Also lot of rural crowd is seen due to college being on the outskirts of city. Overall the crowd is quite balanced and students give equal importance to studies & ‘masti’.

One has to maintain 75% attendance at Rajarajeshwari College, failing to do so normally attract a penalty which has to be paid in terms of donating books to library. No stern action such as detention is heard of being taken.

Rajarajeshwari College of Engineering (RRCE) has many drawbacks right from its location to infra and faculty to placements. It should be kept among bottom 5 choices while choosing a college.

If you join this college you cannot get the T.C. If for some valid reason you want to discontinue the course. They will ask you to pay remaining years fees for T.C and your previous certificates of your career.
