Teachers are well qualified and know their subjects well. They are also approachable if students have any doubts. Students say that professors are more comfortable communicating in the regional language as compared to English and hence they often switch to Kannada. Those not used to the language are vexed. Some of the faculty members are also actively involved in research activities.

The worst faculty & their horrible indiscipline behaveiour to students as though have done PhD for themselves. Even though no communication skill, they've much of attitude. Doesn't know the grammar of simple English

Better remove them from the college. Even though there will be no lecturers in the dept. The students can cope up with the curriculum but with these hopeless creatures dbit really you are wasting the salary giving them...

The sprawling 36 acres campus appears to be unblemished at first glance; a grand entrance, open grounds and spaced out departmental blocks. Huge campus is completely Wi-Fi enabled. The classes, labs, auditorium and library all are top notch. Library has extensive collection of books and e-resources.

Placements have improved rather well in DBIT in recent years. 100% placement record in companies like Accenture, L&T Infotech, Tata Elxsi, Satyam, Wipro Technologies, Infosys etc. Various grooming and personality developement activities are also conduct to prepare the students to face the placements boldly.

Don Bosco Institute of Technology (DBIT) is about 20km from Central Bangalore on Mysore Road, taking about 30 to 40 minutes to reach. Lot of BMTC buses ply here from major areas of the city. College also provides bus facility for Rs 15,000 a year. Almost equal numbers of students travel by BMTC and college bus.

Campus has ample green space to sit & enjoy nature. Coffee day outlet, Nandini ice-cream parlour, Juice centre are available within the campus. Wonder la Amusement park is just 8km away from the campus, and also Ramoji film city is 11 km away. The entire stretch of Mysore road is full of good restaurants and resorts.

Don Bosco Institute of Technology (DBIT) recommends 85% attendance as prescribed by VTU. There is no relaxation except for medical emergencies. They won’t hesitate much before detaining you.
Disciplinary rules like restrictions on girls and guys roaming together in campus or sitting together in class are prevalent. Dress codes are to be followed and timings are to be abided by students.
Campus is ragging free.

Above comments are base less and meaning less it is because of jealous and wrong attitude. Before taking any decision regarding admission visit the campus and the depts, lot of placements drives are conducted in the current year 12-13. Check this in placement and training dept. Any queries contact PRINCIPAL.

The college is famous for throwing out all intellectual faculties and recruiting non sense faculty. Academics is worst at its core, infra is good in a sense. Anyone trying canteen food again at own risk. Think before joining this college
