Although the campus is shared with SIT, thankfully there is a separate newly constructed building for SKN SITS. However, there is only one building for all the departments. The infrastructure of the college is quite good. The college offers Wi-Fi connectivity in the whole campus and all the academic facilities are very well taken care of.

It's that magnificent structure that you see atop the ghats when Lonavala is nearing on your way from Mumbai to Pune or vice-versa. SKN Sinhgad institute of Technology & Science is located in the same campus as Sinhgad Institute of Technology (SIT) in Lonavala. Although it is far from any metropolitan city, the location is picturesque. Climate is brilliant throughout the year. Accessibility doesn't really matter as you've gotta stay in the hostel.

Majority of the students are local of Lonavala or from nearby villages. Like faculty members, they too face some difficulties in speaking English. Some can’t even communicate freely in Hindi. These students usually form a group of their own and are not much interested in befriending outsiders. Those coming from cities of Mumbai or Pune might face some difficulty to socialize initially.
