The faculty is quite lenient and helpful. No “khadoos buddhas”. They have good technical knowledge. However, there is a lack of senior professors, and few other than the HoDs are highly experienced. Most others are freshers with little or no experience. English communication is decent though.

The campus is huge and hosts many other colleges, including the BVDU College of Engineering. The college building is decent and the labs have all the required equipments. The campus boasts of a state-of-the-art football ground where the Indian football team comes to practice occasionally.

TCS is the major recruiter followed up close by Zensar, Syntel, Tech Mahindra & KPIT. Microsoft also gives it a visit and picks up a handful (about 5 or 6 students). The college manages to place a little more than half the students, so all in all, average placements.

Bharati Vidyapeeth College of Engineering for Women, Pune is located right next to the Katraj dairy. The grand entrance of BVDU can be seen right from the highway. It has very good accessibility from most parts of the city.

The food is very light on the pocket. The canteen is not spacious but offers enough variety. Chinese is the preferred choice of the students.

100 biryanis is right opposite the main gate of the Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University campus. A chain of food stalls near the rear gate provide a variety of delicious foods. A CCD next to these food stalls offers a nice ambience for budding relationships. Bhagyalakshmi’s panipuri is not to be missed. City pride multiplex on Pune-Satara road is about 4-5 kms from the college.

Bharati Vidyapeeth College of Engineering for Women is an all-girls college and except for a bit of frustration on everyone’s face, the crowd is the usual. Less locals again because of the location of the college away from the city.

A 4-day festival called Jishn is celebrated in a pompous manner at Bharati Vidyapeeth College of Engineering for Women. It includes 3 days of technical events followed by 1 day of cultural events. It is held around the end of February.

Strict. Defaulters with attendance below 75% have to purchase books for the library and write assignments. Occasionally letters are also sent to parents.

Not recommended. "Avoid if you can as there are certainly better options than this college" quotes a bunch of girls from Bharati Vidyapeeth College of Engineering for Women
